Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek is an American actor from the United States. Her most well-known role is that of Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks in the USA Network television series Covert Affairs Dr. Amber Volakis on the Fox series House Lura Grant on the HBO show Big Love and Francine Hanson on the AMC series Mad Men. Anne Dudek was an American actress best known for her role as Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 comedy White Chicks. Her other roles include her television roles as Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Growing up in Massachusetts Dudek attended Northwestern University where she got her first role as an actor in the theatrical production of The Iphigenia Cycle. It was staged off Broadway in New York City where she received the Joseph E. Calloway award for her outstanding performance. She was featured as one of the top 10 young theater actors to follow in American Theater Magazine. Dudek was able to get roles in both television and film. The talented actress and mother of two on screen was a bride from 2008 to 2016 to Matthew Heller. Dudek was conceived on the streets of Boston Massachusetts in 1975 and born in Newton. She was an undergraduate at Northwestern University in her early years where she appeared in a variety of theatre productions as well as on Broadway making her debut in the latter in the musical Wrong Mountain in 2000. Then, she was awarded the Connecticut Critics Circle Award in recognition of her role as The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group: A British Comedy-Drama was her first show on television. She's guest-starred since then in a variety of TV shows, including Desperate Houswives, Charmed bones Numb3rs and Six Feet Under How I Met Your Mother. She also portrayed Lucinda Barry in the first episode of Psych as well as a teacher who has a sexual relationship with one of her students on Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek got her first role in House in the fourth season, playing Amber Volakis. Amber is among the forty of Dr. Gregory House's forty contenders for a position as a permanent member on House's team. Dudek continued playing her role throughout the whole season, but she was killed in Wilson's head as well as the House's heart episode, which was a two-part series finale. House will later see her as a distorted version of herself in the five-season episode Saviors. Dudek also appeared on Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson, and also in Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives both with frequently appearing role. In 2010, Dudek joined the cast of Covert Affairs portraying Danielle Brooks as the daughter of the central character. Dudek also played Tiffany Wilson, the cruise-line owner in White Chicks (2004 comedy) as well as Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
